What is Resistance Training?
Movements that involve pushes, pulls, or lifts against resistance. 
 
Accessories used are resistance bands, hand weights, Swiss balls (exercise balls), and your body weight. 
 
(Tip: Using our own body weight against gravity is perfect for spine alignment and improved posture.)

  1. Warm up with gentle movements
  2. Warm large muscle groups dynamically
  3. Learn and practice proper form throughout
  4. Perform safe movements using resistance bands, dumbbells, exercise balls, etc.
  5. Major focus on “functional” movements  that build and mimic real-life tasks for strength, balance, and joint stability
  6. Modifications are plentiful for various levels
  7. Cool down with static stretches for muscle recovery
